Winter Farm Camp 2007
February 19th - 23rd

                                          
How do animals adapt to the winter on the farm? What activities does a farmer do during the day? Spend your winter vacation investigating life on the farm. Learn how farmers and animals occupy their day. Participate in winter farm chores, investigating, animal adaptations, making a bow drill,  building snow caves,cooking, gardening and working on a special farm project. During free time enjoy sledding or skating on the pond. Theme days:

  Thursday: SnowShoeing & Tracking     Friday:  Greenhouse Gardening & Seed Art

Spring Farm Camp 2007

April 16-19

What could be more exciting than exploring Hart-to-Hart Farm in the spring! Meet new baby animals, discover wildlife who have returned to the farm, wakeup the garden beds, take pasture walks, repair fences, and more! Each day focuses on a theme to gain richer experience about sustainable farming and the environment. Campers enjoy animal chores, discovery time, crafts, games, and making new friends. Theme days:

Monday: Farmer for the day   Tuesday: Looking for Spring      Wednesday:   Cooking Delights   Thursday:  Garden Sculptures
